NDIS support coordination on the Sunshine Coast.

NDIS support coordination on the Sunshine Coast runs from Caloundra to Noosa and up into the hinterland. Some supports here are a genuinely thin market, so the work is finding capacity, building it, or arranging a workaround — honestly, and in writing. Funded from the Capacity Building budget in your plan, with no out-of-pocket cost. Referrals are answered within two business days.

Caloundra to Noosa, and up into the hinterland. Some supports are genuinely hard to find here — we'd rather tell you that and work the problem than pretend the market is fine.

— Local knowledge

When the market is thin, coordination is the work.

Four ways around a gap

A Brisbane provider who travels; telehealth; training an existing support worker with plan funding; or a market-based price request to the NDIA. We'll tell you which is realistic.

Allied health waitlists

We put you on the right lists early, keep checking them, and don't let a six-month wait quietly eat your therapy budget.

Transport in the hinterland

Public transport won't carry a weekly appointment schedule up here. Transport funding and provider travel get planned in from the start, not bolted on.

Evidence for review

Unspent funding looks like unneeded funding at review time. We document what wasn't available and why — see the plan review guide.

Sunshine Coast questions

Which areas do you cover?

Caloundra, Kawana and Mooloolaba, Maroochydore and Nambour, up through Coolum to Noosa, plus hinterland towns including Beerwah, Landsborough, Palmwoods and Maleny.

There's no provider for what I need. What now?

Some supports here are a genuinely thin market — particularly complex behaviour support and parts of allied health. There are usually four ways through: a metro provider who travels, telehealth, upskilling a worker you already trust with funded training, or a market-based price request to the NDIA. We work through them with you.

Do you come out to the hinterland?

Yes. Hinterland visits are grouped into runs to keep travel costs sensible, with video in between so you're never waiting a fortnight for a conversation.
